Final exam anak2 dah habis, text books pun dah pulangkan ke sekolah, so anak2 pergi sekolah hanya buat revision and workbook saja.... Amir yg masih darjah 1, dah tak belajar sangat and selalu balik rumah ceritakan pada mummy cerita2 yg cikgu2 atau ustazah2 dia sampaikan... Antaranya kisah2 pengajaran dan kisah2 lucu yg diceritakan semula dlm lenggok bahasa Melayu tak betulnya.

Petang semalam, when we were in the car, he charmed us with his teka teki collections, dia main dalam kelas gaknya. Most of them mummy and daddy tak boleh jawab, agak lucu and i would like to share it here:

1) Bunga apakah yang akan terus mati bila disiram air?

6) Dalam hutan, lion adalah raja segala binatang, bila LionKing panggil semua binatang datang kecuali binatang apa?
7) Apakah benda bila dicari-cari susah nak dapat, tapi bila dah dapat terus buang?
8) A few ada teka teki yg ku dah lupa.. ..

INSUH RIMA

Tiada kenangan yg lebih manis dalam hidup selain dari pengalaman membesarkan anak-anak. The more the merrier.. tepat sekali..... despite susah payah yg terpaksa dilalui, most of the time, setiap ibubapa akan tersenyum sendirian mengingati gelagat mereka...

Insuh Rima.... two words that makes me smile the whole week.... Dan pastinya ianya akan menjadi sesuatu yg sgt lucu dan manis untuk dikenang lagi..... Bile besar nanti akan mummy ceritakan kenangan lucu ini pada anak2.....

Alhamdulillah... end of the year exam anak2 dah habis, exam KAFA akan tamat Khamis nanti pula... Sarah menunjukkan peningkatan yang amat baik dalam karangannya... She proudly shows me the word 96% and TAHNIAH written by her teacher on her paper 2 bahasa Melayu... Alhamdulillah.. pemahaman BM mrk semakin baik.. Amir dah lebih berikan tumpuan dan Husna spt biasa tak banyak masalah menyesuaikan diri dimana jua...

Muneerah misses Tok and Long very much.... Asyik ceritakan dia nak Long datang sini... This morning katanya matanya tak selesa sbb rasa gatal... tapi takde pula kesan nyamuk gigit, but I can see kelopak mata dia bergerak2... agaknyaTok dan Long rindukan simontel itu... Call Tok dikampung, mmg betul Long rindukan Muneerah dan asyik mimpikan dia... Hmm... Kesian adik.....

Hubby is super duper busy with his new post, asyik outstation sana sini..... Hmm... bukan senang bersuamikan seorang ----- ni... Rindu masa zaman hubby engineer cabuk dulu... On time je kat rumah, boleh masak sama2, or keluar ronda2 malam sampai ke Citibank Jalan Ampang, pastu singgah Petaling Street beli DVD dan buah berangan bakar... balik rumah lepak2 tgk DVD.... apa nak buat, with Power, comes a great responsibility....and sacrifaction (yours truly le tu).

Kehilangan

It has been more than a week, namun, masih rasa tak percaya Ayah telah pulang menemui penciptanya. The death of parents can be a shocking moment for everyone, eventhough we all know that kematian is a must. Syukur Alhamdulillah ayah pergi dengan tenang pada tengahari jumaat lepas, right before azan jumaat berkumandang di masjid didepan rumah. Jenazah disempurnakan right after asar that day. Alhamdulillah segalanya berjalan lancar eventhough kami sekeluarga tak dapat melihat ayah buat kali terakhir. Kami tiba di Terengganu selepas azan maghrib after 5 hours journey, lalu ikut LPT dan Jabor.

Emak masih merasa kekosongan yang amat setelah sehilangan teman hidup lebih 50 tahun. Satu hari, ketika menalifon emak, katanya the first few days lepas anak2 pulang bekerja, dia masih menyediakan kopi dan lunch kegemaran ayah dan membawanya ketempat ayah dan suddenly realize that ayah has gone. Alhamdulillah kini emak semakin kuat dan tabah... I know her pain and sadness will eventually go away and she will be courageous and strong once again but it doesn’t mean she won’t continue to hurt from time to time. Some ache will be there forever, that’s just the way it is.

There is a Chinese proverb that reads, "You cannot prevent the birds of sorrow from flying overhead, but you can prevent them from building nests in your hair."

Hi, I am Husna. I love to write scary or mysterious short stories. Here are some of my collections.

Story of the sad couples

( I wrote this in April 2008 in a notebook given by my mummy)

One day as a couples were walking by, they saw a love metre shop. They checked it if both of them loved each other and it said they are just like romeo and Juliet. So, then after two months they got married.

But after they both had married it didn't seem what they thought it would be like. The husband died when he was 32 years old. So the wife was sad and she did not want to marry again because she missed her husband so much and she was pregnant.

Now, lets talk more about the father, how he died. One day he had asthma and his blood temperature was so high. Then he went to the hospital and then one doctor said he can't live anymore. There are germs in his blood. And the doctor said that if you don't want him to die, you need to take him to an expert hospital. Then, she took him to the different hospital but still they cannot save her husband.

So she searched the whole wide world and finally she found the doctor she was looking for. But they said he had to die .she didn't care what all the doctors said.suddenly he dropped to the ground and he stopped breathing . Then she was crying until now..... That is the end of the story. The end.

Hari ini Amir dan Husna kena marah dgn mummy kerana beli air dlm tin lagi lepas kelas KAFA. Esok tiada kelas KAFA, mummy akan hantar Sarah, Husna dan Amir ke Library di Bandar Baru Bangi untuk meminjam buku. Buku kegemaran anak2 mummy sekarang adalah siri buku penyiasatan Mr Midnight by James Lee.Sekarang ni anak anak mummy sedang buat homework.Oh ya, Sarah lulus semua subject mata pelajarannya. Dia dapat paling tinggi didalam mata pelajaran Bahasa Inggeris, Sains dan Matematik. Karangan bahasa Melayu Sarah amat lucu. Sarah berada di ranking ke2 sekolahnya. Sarah juga telah boleh membaca Jawi dengan lancar. Not bad for a kid yang baru 4 bulan belajar everything.Keputusan Husna dan Amir tak dapat lagi. esok Mummy pergi jumpa cikgu.

Amir 7th Birthday

Amir was born on the 2nd of May, 7th years ago at PRI Az-Zahra, Bandar Baru Bangi at 6.05 am. The baby with  3.74 kg with 54cm length and 52 cm head circumference is 7 today. He is  the only boy in the family, very demanding, very good in negotiating treats for himself but can be very nice bila kena anginnya.

Sports day

Hari sukan SKPP82 on the 29th march 2008. Daddy, Mummy and Muneerah hantar the kids to their school coz ada replacement class for the cuti during election. Then, we went for breakfast at Precint 8, after that, we went to school for their sports day. At 10.00, mummy sent daddy to his office, then hantar muneerah home sbb dia ngantuk...ingat nak gi sekolah semula tgk game amir n husna, malangnya terlepas pulak game yg husna and amir took part...My hardworking hubby is extremely busy preparing his budget. Working 6 days a week and 14 hours a day. May Allah bless your career dear.. Sarah with her friends.

Helping Sarah with her tajwid homework while polishing mine too... For further reference, here is what we have learnt tonight.

Alif lam syamsiah and alif lam qamariah

Alif lam qamariah ialah lam yang bersambung terus daripada empat belas huruf ini iaitu hamzah (ء), ba' (ب), jim (ج), ha' (ح), kha' (خ), 'ain (ع), ghain (غ), fa' (ف), qaf (ق), kaf (ك), mim (م), wau (و), ha' (ﮬ) dan ya' (ي). Ini diambil sempena perkataan al-qamar (ﺍﻟﻘﻤﺮ). Dari perkataan itu, jelas cara membacanya adalah tidak memasukkaan lam ke dalam huruf selepasnya tetapi mematikannya dengan jelas lalu menyebut huruf yang seterusnya.

Alif lam syamsiah ialah lam yag bersambung dengan empat belas huruf ini pula iaitu ta' (ت), tha' (ث), dal (د), dzal (ذ), ra' (ر), zai (ز), sin (س), syin (ش), sod (ص), dhod (ض), tho (ط), zho (ظ), lam (ل) dan nun (ن). Ini diambil sempena perkataan asy-syamsiah (ﺍﻟﺸﻤﺴﻴﻪ). Dari perkataan tersebut, cara membacanya adalah dengan memasukkan ke dalam huruf selepas lam yang kebanyakkanya disabdukan dan lam tidak dibunyikan.

Fruit picking

Rupanya kat Malaysia ni masih banyak benda2 menarik yang belum sempat diterokai... Fruit picking versi Malaysia is far more interesting than the one we had in UK, mungkin sbb pick up my favourite fruit kot... here goes, rambutan picking

Cats in the cradle

Suatu mlm, daddy was helping Sarah with her hafazan..begitu tekun, bersemangat dan bersungguh2 sekali. Suddenly daddy asked me if i ever heard this song....katanya lyricsnya amat bermakna dan bererti... Every parents who has children must listen to this song. Thanks Harry for reminding me what matters most in the world - our children. But still ... too bad that we can't bring the kids anywhere this school break. Husna wanted to go to PD, to show off her swimming skills, but daddy don't want to go because he said that he is busy..busy..busy... Grrr... Poor kids, I think I must print out the lyrics and paste it on the mirror, to remind daddy that he onced asked me to listen to this song.. Sorry kids, nanti kita pi berenang kat kolam UKM je ok.. You are now a good swimmer and i'm so pround of u..

This song is about the story of a father who is too busy to spend time with his son. Though the son repeatedly asks him to join in childhood activities, the father always responds with little more than vague promises of future quality time ( mcm selalu dibuat somebody je..), . While the son grows up loving and admiring his father, he picks up his father's habit of putting family on the backburner. The son is now starting to become like his father in the sense that he does not have much time to spend with his father (hmm.. don't blame Amir if he found comforts with his little laptop). The father becomes aware of his influence , where he finally recognizes that his failure to spend time with his son growing up has made his son the same way, and he'll never be able to recapture those years.

Years pass and the lonely, aging father, who is now retired and free from the constraints of work, finally desires to spend time with his son, who by this time is a full grown man and is now living in a city far away. Hoping to make up for lost time, he reaches out to him. The son however has his own life and family to worry about; he warmly responds that he is now too busy with his own work and family to spend time with (or even talk to) his father.

Like his father once had, the son promises that someday in the future they will spend time together. The father realizes that his son has become a self-involved career man who has no time for his own children, just like him when he was younger and working. It also says that the son's prediction about growing up to be like his father came true, although not in a way the father would have liked, and that the recurring lines of "we will get together then..we are going to have a good time then" are purely imaginary. Uwaaaa.... Sedih sungguh
